Today we started math centers and the children have been exploring with shapes, attributes and creating equivalent sets.  One of the kids even told me they loved the new math centers, wow!

The children are excited to learn to tie their shoes and earn their Tie King or Tie Queen crown.

The Lifetouch picture forms are going home today, picture day is Thursday, October 9, 2014.  You will also be receiving your child's log in and password for Reading A-Z.   I have assessed the students and have set up reading groups according to skill level.  Please note that I have entered your child's independent reading level and made the books available based on my assessments.  If you have a question regarding reading level, you will see your child's level when you log onto the Reading A -Z program.  With each online book your child reads, he will  receive points to build a robot.  In the past, the children have loved the program.
