 Miss Kupferschmid will be graduating with her teaching degree this spring.  The children loved having her join us for centers today.

Sounding out words with magic "e".  The children did a great job finding their word partners before the music stopped.  We read and tapped out words with the magic "e" and without.  Monday we are playing Red Light Green Light with blends.  Who says school can't be fun?  Have a great weekend.

Problem:  Frog and Toad want to plant a garden.  They have 5 tomato plants, 6 pepper plants, 7 onion plants and 6 corn plants.  There is only room for 6 plants in each row.  How many rows will Frog and Toad need in the garden?

It is December and we are building to 100 with tens and ones, writing numbers to 100 and adding on in addition.  Stay tuned for some impressive work from Room 15 Writer's Club.

Exciting things have been happening in Room 15!  We have two new tie queens and have been very busy building with tens and ones.  Can you believe we are counting on for addition?  We are so excited about our new discoveries.  The day isn't over yet, the author's will be meeting for Writer's Club after lunch.
